  8. I diffused 2 drops of sacred frankincense oil from Young Living in 1/3 cup water. Diffused it for 30 minutes in my kitchen area. It gave me total brain fog. After lunch I layed down for a nap. I slept for 1 hour in a very deep sleep. For several hours afterward I felt a deep tired feeling in my body. I have no health issues. I am 70 years old. I eat healthy. I’m 5 ‘ 8″ and weigh 140 pounds. The next morning my brain seems to be back to normal. I am afraid to try any more frankincense. Do you have any idea what the problem is?

    1. Hey Melba, I am sorry to hear about this. I would contact Young Living about this incident for advice but you may want to discontinue use if you believe you are sensitive to the aroma. You may also try diffusing 1 drop in an area with more ventilation.

  9. Wow, I had no idea that frankincense could be used as a natural way to fall asleep faster, due to its natural calming properties.
